Diabetes can lead to nerve damage, or neuropahty. Gastroperesis is nerve damage to the stomach. While there is no cure for Diabetes, complications like Gastroperesis can be prevented by Diabetes management, including a diet for Diabetics such as a low carbohydrate diet or a low cholesterol diet, blood sugar monitoring, and taking Diabetes medication if necessary.
