Diabetes and School Care in Idaho: Idaho state laws governing diabetic children in school provides for a nursing care plan developed by the school nurse along with the parents, family, student and others professionals such as doctors, describing how health related services will be provided to specific students in the school setting. These services include blood sugar testing and monitoring, insulin, medication, hyperglycemia care, and hypoglycemia care.
