Diabetic men don't have to give up their Viagra or Cialis prescriptions, a study concluded. According to researchers quoted in an issue of the Cochrane Library, diabetic men are no more likely than their non-diabetic peers to suffer complications from erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs. The study was based on data from nearly 1,000 men diagnosed as suffering from ED. The drugs used in the test included all three of the popular ED drugs approved by the FDA: Cialis, Levitra and Viagra. As diabetes has been shown to increase the risk of erectile dysfunction by up to three times, the study's findings should come as reassuring news to millions who rely on ED treatments.
