DC - Adults Living with Type 1 Support Group
Meeting Dates: the second Wednesday of every month
Meeting Location: TBD
Please join us each month if you are a young adult who has type 1 or knows someone
who has type 1. This group gets together to meet other young people in the metro DC
area who live with type 1, whether it's a friend, a family member or yourself. Come join a relaxed group of friends getting together.

diabetes. This group gets together to meet other young people in the metro DC area who are living with type

ONLINE Support Group – Capital Area Type 1 Diabetes Support
This is a support group for children and parents of children with type 1 diabetes. We are local to the Northern Virginia / DC / Maryland area. This group is mainly an email discussion group with over 140 families currently. We do also have meetings or outings fairly frequently, but not on a regularly scheduled basis. Meetings might be a gathering for 1-20 families in someone's home, a bowling outing, or a trip to a local pool. It depends on what members want to set up. All families in the area living with type 1 diabetes are welcome to join the group. Please include your name and phone number when requesting membership. Email the moderator with any questions.
