This year's program is packed with skills workshops, didactic sessions, advanced case studies, interactive tutorials, and much more, to give you enhanced skills you can use in your practice right away. In addition, some sessions focus on educational issues, entrepreneurial how-tos, and ways you can get involved in helping your profession and impacting health care. Family, adult, pediatric, geriatric, women's health, and acute care practice specialties are all covered in sessions presented by expert nurse practitioners, doctors, and pharmacists from across the country. Topics include diabetes, pain management, allergies and asthma, sexual health, legal issues, and much more. Workshops will include suturing, EKG, wound care dressings, otitis media, melanoma screening, vulvar diagnosis, among others.Many of the programÂ’s sessions will include a focus on pharmacology, and others will include information on pharmaceuticals and their use in treatment of specific problems. These sessions will enable you to earn the pharmacology credit you need.
