Diabetes Support Groups:

* Little Kids with Insulin Dependent Diabetes (L'Kidds)

L'Kidds is for parents of infants, toddlers and preschoolers with Type 1 diabetes. We meet Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon at Children's Hospital every other month starting in January and provide child care during our meetings. We also host a fun family picnic each July. * Super Kids with Insulin Dependent Diabetes (SKWIDDS)

SKWIDDS is a support group for families of children of all ages with Type 1 diabetes, primarily school-aged through teens. We share our experiences at support meetings and have fun together at our family events and neighborhood gatherings. Our monthly e-mail newsletter contains information about upcoming SKWIDDS gatherings and other diabetes-related news and events in our area.
