Diabetes Management and Support Group
South County Hospital offers a variety of programs and services for patients and their families. The Diabetes Management and Support Group meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Potter Conference Center from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and is facilitated by Certified Diabetes Educators. This program is free and registration is not required. There is also a six-week education program that teaches about diet management, medications, exercise, and home glucose monitoring. Pediatric Diabetes Support Group
South County Hospital offers a Pediatric Diabetes Support Group for children with diabetes and their families. The group meets the last Wednesday of the month at the Cardiopulmonary Suite in the Medical Office Building, located at 70 Kenyon Avenue. The group meets from 6:30pm to 7:45pm. It is facilitated by Certified Diabetes Educators and is free, no registration is required. For more information, please call 782-8020, ext. 3484.
