Take the ride of your life! Register for the Atlanta Tour de Cure, Georgia's largest one-day charity cycling event, and join hundreds of others in the fight against diabetes. Ride the Silk Sheets route in South Metro Atlanta (15 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport) through Fulton, Coweta and Fayette counties and enjoy the beautiful and scenic countryside while pedaling distances from 8 miles through 100 miles! With breakfast, lunch, rest stops every 10-15 miles and plenty of SAG support, Tour de Cure is an event for recreational and avid cyclists alike. We have put together this team to honor our riders with diabetes and to show that people with diabetes can live healthy and active lifestyles. RED Riders can ride any distance that they would like in the Tour de Cure whether it is one mile or 100! The purpose is to encourage people with diabetes to become active. RED Riders will have a special tent at the event, be honored with special gifts and start the ride off for us this year. Join today!

Registration & Fund-Raising Information
Our early bird registration fee of $15.00 will be in effect until February 22, 2009. After that, your registration fee will be $25.00. All cyclists must raise the minimum of $150 to participate, in addition to the registration fee. Registration fees do not count towards the fund-raising minimum and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Encourage a minimum of four colleagues, friends and family members to join you at the Atlanta Tour de Cure! To form a team, click the "Form" or "Create a Team" button atop this page.

Tour de Cure is a series of fund-raising cycling events held in 40 states nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association.

The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Whether participants ride 10 miles or 100 miles*, they will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel the journey and fans to cheer them on!

Last year, more than 32,000 cyclists in 78 Tour events raised nearly $13 million to support the mission of the ADA: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
