Clinical trials for ketoacidosis and diabetes can be valuable and effective. Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is an emergency condition caused by untreated hyperglycemia or - for people with diabetes mellitus. Diabetic ketoacidosis is a state of inadequate insulin levels resulting in high blood sugar and accumulation of organic acids and ketones in the blood.
