Diabetes treatment methods depend on the type of diabetes you have,such as type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, or gestational diabetes. Treatment can include using a blood glucose monitor, daily testing with strips or using insulin such as humalog, NPH, Lantus, and Novalin. Oral medications such as actos,and avandia may also be used. Diet, nutrition and overall good health are important, especially since there is no known cure for diabetes.
