When I started taking Byetta, I couldn't feel any better. Of course there was side effects of nausea, but I was very thankful of the power of Byetta that made my BG to go down significantly and give me more energy. I have been taking Byetta for 3 months (10 mcg twice a day) and 1000 mg Metformin twice a day.
Since I got used to the medication, I started exercising 30 minutes a day everyday. I started feeling fatigue. It is almost like I would have the high blood glucose level, but it is normal range. I have read online that some people have exerienced the similar situation after 3-4 months they started taking and fatigue lasted for a couple more months.
Byetta really helped me with the glucose level and maybe this is a side effect. Metformin gives me a little headche sometimes... and sometimes that can lead you to feel a little less energetic.
I am planning to talk to my doctor at next appointment. But I wanted to see if anyone has similar experiences.
