Marco Island 2009 Conference

A Regional Conference and Expo
January 1-4, 2009
Marco Island Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa

Join your CWD family and friends for a long weekend in truly a paradise setting. The Marco Island Marriott Resort has something for everyone. Whether you enjoy relaxing on the beach with a good book and good friends, or would prefer something more invigorating like sailing or a swim in the surf, or an afternoon full of learning and wonder as you tour the Everglades adjacent to the resort, the choices really are endless.

Conference programming for parents (i.e., educational sessions) will be offered on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30, right after breakfast. There will be a break for snacks - and to check on the kids - roughly halfway through the morning. Note that the children ages 6-17 will have activities during the morning on Friday and Saturday as well. They will work in specific age groups: Elementary (ages 6-9), Tween (ages 10-12), Teen (ages 13-17), and childcare for potty-trained kids ages 5 and under. In addition, there will be games and other activities for CWD families on the beach throughout the day.
