Hi Kermitt,
Let your hubby know that there is a treatment for EVERY man. They range from medication and vacuum pumps to a simple penile sleeve that holds a flaccid (limp)penis in place so you can have intercourse. Penile sleeves and vacuum pumps are available without a prescription.

Hi vickie,
Welcome to the dLife family! You are correct - diabetes can cause a drop in libido. Unfortunately, few health care professionals ever mention this side effect. What helps many women is improved blood sugar levels, the use of a vaginal lubricant, and togetherness with their partner OUTSIDE of the bedroom. Try going on a weekly date with your partner. See a movie, go for a walk, just have fun again. That can help kick-start romance along with the other suggestions.

Janis
Thankyou for the welcome and the input. At my last GYN the doctor prescribed premarin cream. I've been forgetful about it but I'm now trying much harder to remember to dose. I'll pass on the suggestions to my husband and hopefully there'll be an improvement soon.
