Diabetes and high Cholesterol + - small vent

I recently got the results back from my blood panel and my LDL is higher than last time. I'm somewhat confused because I was expecting it to go down as my bs went down. My A1c is 6.5 now but my LDL is in the 180's. I don't understand why it's higher.

I also got a letter in the mail yesterday, from my endo, saying that I need to start taking 50,000 I.U.'s of vitamin D 2 x a week for 3 months. My hypoparathyroidism is causing the low vit. D. Doc said he won't start me on cholesterol lowering meds until I'm done with the Drisdol. Another 3 months.

You know, sometimes I feel totally screwed up. Diabetes, high cholesterol, hypoparathyroidism, and high blood pressure. Try making a balanced meal plan for all of that. I'm mentally tired from trying.
