Diabetes In Depth
Diabetes In Depth is a continuing medical education program designed to meet the education and practice needs of clinicians who regularly diagnose and manage patients with diabetes. At every session, leading experts will provide world-class information on the cormorbidities and risk factors associated with what has become one of the greatest health problems. Earn up to 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM or 8.5 AANP contact hours of continuing education, at no cost.
Program Objectives
Attend this continuing medical education activity and you will be able to:
Incorporate essential clinical management tools, including self-monitoring of blood glucose, medical nutritional therapy, and patient education.
Assess treatment strategies and implement patient-specific directed therapies.
Analyze the methods and role of intensive glycemic control through early intervention and treatment advancement.
Address multifactorial cardiovascular risk in the patient with diabetes, and strategies to manage cardiometabolic risk factors.
Explore emerging and new perspectives in the treatment of diabetes.
