The Queen's Medical Center's Health Education and Wellness department offers a comprehensive outpatient diabetes program, covering all types of diabetes. Classes offered in the program include:
# Managing Your Diabetes with Balancing Skills
# Patients and Families with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes
# Pregnancy and Diabetes
Queen's Outpatient Diabetes Education Self Management Program is not only comprehensive but also interdisciplinary and proactive with the patient. All of Queen's programs are recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education.
