AADE is proud to present the 2008 International Diabetes Educators Conference*, a one-day conference aimed at broadening the knowledge base of diabetes educators on diabetes education around the world. Washington D.C is the perfect venue for this first ever conference hosted by AADE.

Therapeutic Patient Education and the Self-Care Behavior Modification

The goal of the conference is to bring the two concepts of Therapeutic Patient Education and Self-Care Behavior Modification together through best practices presented during engaging plenary presentations as well as interactive workshops and case studies discussion groups. Additionally, this day is an outreach to our international colleagues in hopes to build better relationships and leverage one another's knowledge, supporting AADE's mission of "driving professional practice" by building a global evidence base for diabetes education.
