ADA has patient and professional educational materials, monthly magazine subscription and catalogs of diabetes publications and videos. Videos are available through the ADA lending library. ADA offers training on how to lead diabetes support groups. The Affiliate also sponsors a resident camp for children with diabetes, raises funds for diabetes research, educational activities and publishes a State newsletter. Call the Affiliate office for general information on diabetes, a catalog, schedule of support group trainings, and other activities of local chapters. Health care provider referrals are available from listings of ADA professional members within the state and nation-wide.
