Camp Hodia, Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs
Camp Hodia, Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs
Four summer camps and one winter camp are offered at multiple locations in the mountains of Idaho. Camp programs are offered for children going into grades 3-12 from June through August and in February.
Program lengths and activities vary. Summer camp activities include hiking, swimming, backpacking, horseback riding, river rafting, rappelling, art and crafts, archery, camp fires, and ice skating.
Online registration is available. The Camp Hodia programs are designed to foster self-reliance in kids and young adults with diabetes and to demonstrate that people need not be limited by diabetes. With the help of our medical staff and trained counselors with diabetes, our staff provides mentoring and support to campers in a safe, healthy, and respectful environment.
Camp Hodia is an independently owned camp operated by Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs and receives marketing and financial support from the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
The American Diabetes Association offers camp scholarships to enable children to attend Camp Hodia.
