Connecticut Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract
Connecticut Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract
ConnPACE is the Connecticut Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract to the Elderly and the Disabled, and this program provides prescription-purchasing assistance to Connecticut's elderly and disabled citizens. For Medicare beneficiaries, ConnPACE provides Medicare Part D premium assistance, coverage of Medicare Part D non-formulary prescriptions and pays for out-of-pocket costs that exceed $16.25. ConnPACE is a state funded program and covers most prescription medications as well as insulin and insulin syringes.
If you are a Connecticut resident aged 65 or older, or with a disability aged 18 or older, you may qualify for ConnPACE. ConnPACE does require that individuals receiving Medicare Part A or Medicare Part B to be enrolled in a Medicare Part D Plan. ConnPACE works with all the Medicare Part D plans in Connecticut and will enroll applicants in a Part D plan if they so desire.
