Diabetes Daily: Dental Problems
Has anyone had dental problems? I am new to this forum and have not had a chance to look at other posts to see if there is one like this. I am only 31 and am having severe dental issues. I would love to hear if other diabetics have had problems loosing teeth and what they have done about it. My dentist is suggesting I have a bridge put in and it would be for 8 teeth. She said normally they do not like going more that 6 teeth and since I am diabetic I have concerns with going over what they would do with a "healthy patient". This is very expensive and I would like to know more about the long term outcome. What type of dental work have you had done?
