Support Groups
The Fairbanks Diabetes Center also hosts several support groups in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association. For more information call the American Diabetes Association at 457-1557.

* Adult Diabetes Support Group
o First Thursday of each month, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
o Topics include nutrition, physical activity, new treatments, stress management, foot care and healthy vision
* Type 1 Family Support Group
o Third Saturday of each month, 10:00 a.m. - noon
o Problem solving for life with type 1 diabetes
