Skin thickening, pitting, or a reaction at the injection site and low blood sugar levels are potential side effects that may occur with Humalog. Side effects of the drug can be potentially serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider. Such side effects of Humalog include an allergic reaction and symptoms of low blood sugar, which may include dizziness, sweating, or shakiness.
An Introduction to Humalog Side Effects
As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Humalog? (insulin lispro). However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, many people tolerate it quite well. If Humalog side effects do occur, they are often minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.
