Is a low-carb diet such as Atkins suitable for diabetes?

Answer

The Atkins diet is a bit extreme for someone with diabetes, but depending on the severity of your condition it's not out of the question.

I wouldn't attempt this without the professional help of a dietician - especially one who has specialised knowledge of diabetes.
