Community Support Group
For many people with diabetes, peer-to-peer interaction provides a positive and effective way to discuss issues, share concerns and learn from one another. The Diabetes Self-Management Education Program offers a monthly community support group. It is designed to provide a supportive environment in which people with diabetes can meet and share coping strategies, successes and other issues. The support group does not provide formal diabetes education or clinical intervention.
