Northern California Type 1 Diabetes Support Group
The Children's diabetes support group was started in November of 2007 with just a few kids with Type 1 Diabetes and their parents. Today we have helped over 50 children and their parents realize that they are not alone in this life changing event. Our goal as a group is to bring awareness to all the other parents in the community that we are here for support, education and to help them advocate for themselves and their children.
Meetings are held the Second Saturday of every month at Mercy Medical Center in Redding, California.
