ODE is the Oregon Chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators. It serves the State of Oregon and welcomes members from neighboring states. It is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization that is made up of health care professionals , corporate sponsors, and individuals with diabetes who have an interest in diabetes.

Mission Statement:

* To provide educational opportunities for the professional growth of diabetes educators.
* To promote and aid quality diabetes education for the person with diabetes.
* To foster collaboration among individuals and organizations involved in diabetes education
