Project SUGAR: The Sea Islands African American Registry Project is a program operated by the Medical University of South Carolina. It is a research project that offers free diabetes exams and compensation to people who qualify. There are two studies with different requirements. To find out if you qualify, go to the Page Directory on the left and select Study Participants for the first study and GENNID for the second study.
