A "One-Stop-Shop" for diabetes, this Center combines the best of clinical care, education, and research while drawing upon a full range of top-rated specialists and cutting edge technology to provide unsurpassed treatment and care. The on-going clinical and laboratory research are geared towards finding better ways to treat diabetes, and ultimately finding a cure for this disease. Our aim is to improve the quality of life for patients with diabetes.

These services are offered to caregivers of people with diabetes, and other healthcare professionals, to lessen the suffering that is caused by diabetes. The Utah Diabetes Center is a partnership between University Health Care, Department of Pediatrics, Primary Children's Medical Center, and Internal Medicine at the University of Utah's School of Medicine.
Our Mission
To improve the quality of life for people with or affected by diabetes, and to reduce complications and suffering related to the disease by providing high quality care and equipping the patient with the latest self-management tools through education.
