Forming Good Habits for Life

Wyoming Medical Center’s Diabetes Care Center is available to all people with diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance along with their family members. Individual instruction is provided by certified healthcare professionals. Appointments can be made by calling 577-2592 Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Please contact your physician to coordinate services.

Our services are directed and supervised by Endocrinologist and Diabetologist, Dr. Babak Pazooki.

Individual Instruction

Covering All Facets
Managing diabetes requires the formation of good daily habits. Patients enrolled in our program will receive the following instruction to help them along their way:
# Management skills for people with all types of diabetes and related issues
# Oral medications
# Insulin therapy
# Beginning and updating self-monitoring of blood-glucose
# Group training sessions
# Intensive diabetes management
# Insulin pump therapy
# Establishing and/or updating individual meal plans
# Carbohydrate counting
# Long-term complications
# Hemoglobin A1c testing
# Foot screenings
# Exercise programs
# Sick day management
