Type 2 Diabetes is the most common form of Diabetes. Most diabetics have Type 2 Diabetes, which is controlled by diabetic diet and exercise and by medications such as Actos, Avandia, Glucotrol, Glucophage, and others. Sometimes, insulin is required for Type II Diabetics in extreme cases. It is very important to control blood sugar levels and blood glucose monitors are required to maintain a close eye on these blood sugar levels in order to control damaging diabetic symptoms such as neuropathy and heart, liver, and kidney damage.
