Diabetes Laws and Policy in Iowa are decided by state legislature. State law may provide diabetics with diabetic health care and diabetic supplies such as insulin, diabetic socks, blood glucose monitors, or decide how schools must accommodate childhood diabetic students. Iowa state legislature also sets guidelines for diabetes and stem cell research laws. Iowa state may also offer diabetes assistance programs to diabetics.
